I recently bought myself a Kindle Paperwhite Signature Edition, and yes, I do love it. I take it every time I leave the house, because it is a lot easier than carrying a book. However, no Kindle is complete without some accessories to make reading even more enjoyable. My friends laugh at how relaxed, and dare I say, lazy I am when it comes to my Kindle reading. So, let’s dive into my must haves! This post does have affiliated links that I make commission off of, but I still believe that I could not read on my Kindle without these items! Click on the photo below, and it will take you to my Amazon storefront, if there are any of these accessories you would like to buy!
The most obvious must have is a good case. I have two that I love! Both cases are clear because I love to decorate the back of my Kindle with stickers. One case is a portfolio type case that has a cover that folds over and protects the screen when not in use. I loved this case at first; however, it does not work well with my other accessories. Therefore, I tend to not use it as much. However, if you just want something to keep your Kindle protected, I highly recommend this type of case! My second and favorite case is quite simple. It is just a clear case. THAT’S IT! Why? Because I have it decorated and paired with other accessories, and it was all I needed. Best part? You can get one for $5-$10, and who doesn’t love cheap options?
If you get a clear case, you might as well get decorative stickers to put inside the case to customize your Kindle. I keep the sticker backing on and just put the stickers between the Kindle and the case. This allows me to exchange the stickers whenever I want, instead of being stuck with the same stickers all the time. This is how I currently have my Kindle decorated.

Next is another obvious, a screen protector. I personally didn’t go crazy on the prices for it. I just got a cheaper 3 pack. It makes it easier if something happens to the screen protector, because you have extras to immediately replace. I would take that over one expensive screen protector any day. When I use my clear case without the cover, I also make sure that I carry it around in a padded Kindle sleeve for extra protection while traveling.
The accessory I use that I am the most thankful for, is my Kindle strap. It hooks onto the sides or the corners of the Kindle, and then you can hold the kindle using strap. It is very comfortable, and your hand won’t cramp up. Worth every penny! There are all kinds of different patterns and colors to choose from. Below are different ways you can attach the strap to the Kindle.

Next up, I love to use a stand! I have a stand for when I am in my bed and a different one for when I am in my recliner. My bedside stand is a gooseneck that clamps onto my bedside table. I have it positioned to where it hovers above me when I am laying down in bed. My recliner, however, has a floor stand where I can put my Kindle in the holder and then position it to whatever level I need. I could be reclined, leaning forward, or just resting against the back of the recliner. It is perfectly adjustable. Below are what my two stands look like.

If you are going to have a stand, there is one accessory that you absolutely need, a page turner! It makes reading so comfortable. I just put my Kindle in my stand, place the page turner on the edge of the Kindle, and snuggle under my blanket. I can then use the remote to change the pages without ever having to remove my hands from underneath the blanket. PERFECT FOR COZY READING!

The final accessory I pair with my Kindle is my wireless charging dock! I just prop my Kindle on it whenever it needs a charge, and the best part is this Kindle does not need charged often! I used it everyday and have only charged it two or three times this year! It is insane!
These are my must haves for when I settle down to read on my Kindle! Hope you find something to make reading more enjoyable!
